EYE Have a Heart

Welcome to EYE Have a Heart

The EYE Have a Heart program demonstrates EYE’s commitment to support various community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations. While EYE has long supported community initiatives and worthwhile causes, the establishment of the EYE Have a Heart program will further demonstrate EYE’s long-term commitment to caring for the communities within the regions in which EYE operates.

2010 initiatives

In February, 2010 EYE USA kicked off a month long program supporting four charities across 60 malls in the United States. The four causes supported by this program are the American Heart Association (February is American Heart Month), the American Red Cross, Breastcancer.org and New York Cares. EYE invited clients to nominate one of these charities to receive posters in Eyelites in local malls to raise awareness of their unique mission. Thanks to our clients for their participation and thanks to our partners, Venture Printing and Squeaky Clean for helping to make this program possible. Mike Tyquin and fellow CEOs from the Oudtoor Media Association took to the streets of Sydney to experience first hand what it was like to sell The Big Issue magazine.

Those that took part in the event all agreed that they had formed a new found respect for The Big Issue’s thousands of vendors, who every day stand on street corners around Australia selling the fortnightly magazine.  Photo credit - Daniel Boud.
