LONDON – Leading airport media specialist, EYE, is pleased to support UNITAID in their mission to help provide people in low-income countries with access to treatments for HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis.

UNITAID’s mission is to leverage price reductions for quality diagnostics and medicines and accelerate the pace at which these are made available to developing countries. Their media campaign to promote the cause will be displayed across EYE’s complete UK airport portfolio including Manchester, East Midlands, Belfast International, Cardiff, Bournemouth and Humberside airports. The campaign aims to increase awareness of UNITAID’s mission amongst departing and arriving passengers as they journey through the airports. The charity has achieved a staggering 60% price reduction for key pediatric AIDS medicines since November 2006 enabling three times as many HIV-positive children to be treated for the same amount of money.
